On thuisarts.nl
The information on Thuisarts comes from medical associations (including the Dutch College of General Practitioners, the NHG) and other healthcare providers in the Netherlands. These associations carry out thorough research into the best treatments and advice. They set this out in guidelines, which doctors and healthcare providers use in their work.
Thuisarts uses these guidelines to provide reliable and clear information on illness and health. If a guideline changes, the updated information is also published on Thuisarts.
It’s the first place where you can easily and reliably look up health-related questions.
No, there are now so many organisations in Utrecht that provide this service that we’d prefer to keep it there. Here are just a few of the many websites: Utrecht Public Health Service Travel Vaccinations, vaccinatieopreis.nl, verwijswijzer.nl travelclinic.nl
The GGD provides vaccinations for people up to the age of 26. If you are older, you can get vaccinated at your own expense at places such as: stadskliniek-vaccinations.nl, vaccinatieopmaat.nl and thuisvaccinatie.nl
These costs will be deducted from your excess. You can find the costs on the Unilabs (formerly Saltro) website Price list Please note in particular the costs of allergy and stool tests, as these often exceed 300 euros.
You are registered once you have had an initial consultation and your medical records have been requested from your previous GP.
Emails regarding your appointments and your patient portal are sent from noreply@mijndokters.nl. To set up your patient portal, you will receive a one-off email from no-reply@mijngezondheidsapp.nlPlease add these email addresses to your address book on your computer, or to the Contacts on your phone. That way, our emails will be recognised as trusted.
For patients who require regular check-ups, we have entered into a partnership with the company Viduet. Together with them, we ensure that your appointment takes place on time and is well prepared. They will send you emails on behalf of our practice. Such a message may, for example, be an invitation to complete a medical questionnaire or a request for you to book an appointment with us. We would be very grateful if you could respond to such requests.
If you do not yet have login details, please contact the practice to request them.
Yes, that’s right! You can always call us and we’ll call you back, or you can book an appointment straight away. You can also do this via the website. Your first point of contact will always be the GP. She will then discuss with you what the next appropriate step should be.
No, unfortunately, given the growing list of responsibilities placed on us as GPs, we have decided not to take on this service. We would refer you to the GGD for this, Pre-care or https://prepnu.nl/artsen/
